Mitchell Concrete was originally formed in the late 1970’s and has been supplying concrete to customers all over Cornwall ever since. Trading as A Mitchell & Son, the company has grown steadily since it started trading, to reach the current level where we are proud to have our own fully owned fleet and batching plant. We do not rely upon hired vehicles or owner-drivers but prefer to operate using our own staff so that we know we can keep our level of service high for all our customers.
We continue to provide a complete service for Ready Mix Concrete in the Cornwall area and being based centrally in the county we serve all areas. As the original operator of “Mini-Mix” (miniture scale truck mixers) we have a reputation for being specialists in difficult access sites and situations with limited or difficult entrances – where a smaller lorry is a huge advantage. Our fleet includes 4 and 6 wheeled vehicles and we also offer a full ex-works facility from our plant just outside Redruth.
